SERVICE STANDARDS FOR CONTRACTOR IN RESPONDING TO THIRD PARTY CLAIMANTS. 7.8.1 For the purposes of this 7.8 - SERVICE STANDARDS FOR CONTRACTOR IN RESPONDING TO THIRD PARTY CLAIMANTS, “Third Party Claimant” means any Person asserting a Claim that is not a party to the Agreement other than a Subcontractor, Supplier or Sub-subcontractor asserting a Claim in respect of the Work or the Project: .1 for which such Subcontractor, Supplier or Sub-subcontractor is entitled to assert rights (including lien rights) under the Construction Act against the Owner; or .2 which relate to a Claim the Contractor is asserting against the Indemnitees.
