Common use of Service Performance Clause in Contracts

Service Performance. Jitter The target jitter for the Service is measured by sending four test packets of 80 bytes (with 20ms spacing), periodically and regularly, 24 hours a day between the Supplier’s PoPs with appropriate averaging. The target jitter for the Service is set at less than 8ms. Any traffic exceeding the Customer’s CDR will be discarded and not included in the jitter measurement. Jitter is taken from a sample value from the Supplier Network and may be the average of more than one test result. No more than 1 in 1000 samples should exceed the target jitter under normal conditions, excluding periods of planned maintenance and outages however caused.
