Service Connected. In the event an employee is absent due to a service-connected injury or illness, the benefits afforded this employee will be as follows: If the benefits paid to such employee under the provision of the Department Workers Compensation Program does not equal the employee’s gross salary, the Department should pay to the employee an amount equal to the difference between the compensation received under Workers Compensation and the employee’s then present gross salary, excluding overtime. This compensation will continue for a period of 800 hours from the first day of absence. Employees who have completed ten (10) to 15 years of continuous full-time employment on the date of injury will have their salary compensated for an additional 200 working hours. Employees who have completed in excess of 15 years of continuous full-time employment will have their salary compensated for an additional 120 hours plus the above 200 hours, totaling 320 hours. After the initial 800-hour period, sick and vacation leave will not accrue. At the time of bonus time accrual (employee’s hire date) if an employee has more than three (3) shifts of non-accrual workers’ compensation, they will not be eligible for bonus hours. This also applies to any approved extended hours.

  • Indirect Network Connection 64.8.1 For purposes of this Agreement, Indirect Traffic means traffic which is originated by one Party and terminated to the other Party in which a third party ILEC’s Tandem switch both provides the intermediary Transit Service and serves CenturyLink’s NXXs. Indirect Network Connection for Indirect Traffic is intended only for de minimis traffic associated with CLEC “start- up” market entry into a CenturyLink local exchange. Therefore Indirect Network Connection will be allowed only on routes between CenturyLink End Offices and a CLEC switch in instances where, and only so long as, none of the POI thresholds set forth in Section 64.4.2 have been reached.

  • Electrical connections Equipment requiring electrical connections for operation shall either be hard wired to the Authorized User's provided connections or the Contractor shall be responsible for a male electrical union.   • Connecting Transmission Owner’s Scope of Work and Responsibilities The Connecting Transmission Owner will design, construct, own, operate and maintain all Connecting Transmission Owner’s Interconnection Facilities, except as otherwise stated above and in the Project Specific Specifications. The Connecting Transmission Owner will complete all engineering reviews, field verifications and witness testing, etc. in accordance with the ESBs and the Project Specific Specifications. Connecting Transmission Owner shall provide the revenue metering CT/PT units and meter socket enclosure. The Connecting Transmission Owner shall:  provide, run, and wire both ends of the color-coded cable for the revenue metering instrument transformer secondary wiring;  perform all terminations; and  supply and install the meter. The revenue meter may require a communications link to the RTU. The Connecting Transmission Owner will specify and run those communications cables. The Connecting Transmission Owner shall complete all wiring, testing and commissioning of the RTU.

  • Personal Services Contracts 95. a. Departments shall notify the Union of proposed personal services contracts where such services could potentially be performed by represented classifications. Such notification shall occur no later than the date a department sends out requests for proposals.
