Common use of Service Award Clause in Contracts

Service Award. Subject to approval by the Superior Court, in addition to a Settlement Award computed as described above, Plaintiff shall receive a separate Service Award, which will be treated as non-wages, on which there will be no payroll tax withholdings and for which an IRS Form 1099 (marked “Other Income”) shall be issued to the taxing authorities and Plaintiff.
