Seniority Upon Promotion. A State Patrol Trooper or State Patrol Investigation Officer who is promoted to Sergeant on or after July 1, 1997, shall receive a seniority date for that classification from the last (most recent) date of promotion to a Sergeant.
Seniority Upon Promotion a. An employee who is promoted or permanently transferred to a job or position not covered by this Agreement shall retain classification seniority in the seniority unit from which he or she was promoted or transferred only for a period of one (1) year from the time of his/her promotion or transfer, during which period of time the employee may be returned to work in a position comparable to the one which he or she held at the time of the promotion or transfer. In such promotion or transfer, Rutgers seniority is as specified in #2a.
Seniority Upon Promotion. For purposes of promotion, if more than one (1) employee is promoted on the same day to the same classification, AOCE seniority shall be used to break the tie.
Seniority Upon Promotion. A regular employee in the bargaining unit who is 24 promoted to another classification within the bargaining unit shall continue to accrue seniority in the 25 classification from which the employee was promoted.
Seniority Upon Promotion. A regular employee in the bargaining unit who is 20 classification from which he/she was promoted.
