Seniority Unit Layoff List. If a Seniority Unit Layoff List exists for the classification, seniority unit, employment condition and geographic location selection shall then be made from qualified employees on that list. No new appointments shall be made in a classification, seniority unit and employment condition for which a layoff list exists until all qualified employees on such list have been offered the opportunity to accept the position.
