Seniority Tie Breakers. Where the seniority of two (2) or more regular or school term employees is equal, the employee with the earliest date of hire as a probationary employee shall be deemed to have the greatest seniority. Where the date of hire is equal, the employee with the earliest date of application for regular or school term employment shall be deemed to have the greatest seniority. This clause will be effective for employees hired after the date of ratification.
Seniority Tie Breakers. If two (2) or more employees are found to have equal seniority in 4 above, the employee possessing the greatest number of hours beyond his/her BA degree shall be retained.
Seniority Tie Breakers. Where two (2) or more employees have identical Union seniority dates, seniority rights shall be determined on the basis of the sum of the last four (4) digits of each employee’s social security number with preference to the highest number. If the last four (4) digits tie then the last five (5) will be used.
Seniority Tie Breakers. In the event two (2) or more employees have identical seniority, as defined in Article 16, Section (A)(4) above, the decision as to which employee has the greater seniority shall be based upon total District seniority, including service in lower classifications in which the employees have served. If the employees still have equal seniority, the seniority will be determined by lot.
Seniority Tie Breakers. If two or more employees have the same last date of hire, they shall appear on the seniority list based on the time of issuance recorded on the hiring form.
Seniority Tie Breakers. Seniority shall commence on the date an individual becomes employed as established above in Section 14.1. Should more than one (1) individual be hired on the same day, seniority preference will be determined at the Chief’s discretion at the time of hire. Previous methods for determining seniority prior to the effective date of this Agreement shall not be affected.
Seniority Tie Breakers a. When the seniority of two (2) or more teachers pursuant to paragraph 2 is equal, the teacher with the longest present continuous employment with the employer shall have the greatest seniority.
Seniority Tie Breakers. If seniority rankings for a given position are equal, the preference shall be given to the employee who possesses the highest number of credits on the state salary allocation model. If, after such considerations, the employees are still equally ranked, “lot” will fill the position.
Seniority Tie Breakers. If the total years of continuous service in the District are equal between two (2) or more tenured teachers, then seniority shall be determined by reference to the following tie-breakers:
