Seniority Date Adjustments. An employee who held a position within the bargaining unit on the effective date of this Agreement will be assigned a seniority date as specified in Section 9.1, even if the employee previously held positions outside of the bargaining unit. An employee who held a position outside of the bargaining unit on the effective date of this Agreement and is thereafter offered and accepts a bargaining unit position, and an employee who held a bargaining unit position on that date and is thereafter offered and accepts a position outside of the bargaining unit and then later returns to the bargaining unit, will be given an adjusted seniority date. The adjustment will be done by moving the employee's date of hire (or former bargaining unit seniority date) forward by the number of calendar days the employee was in the non-unit position. The adjustments contemplated by this provision shall not apply to temporary assignments.

Seniority Date Adjustments. (a) Once an Employee completes the probationary period set forth in Article 20, his/her/their Company seniority date shall continue to be recorded and considered as the date the Employee last started work with the Employer.
Seniority Date Adjustments. Rehires who return to work more than 180 calendar days following the last day of their previous employment period will be assigned a new seniority date, as specified in Section 9.1. Rehires who return to work within 180 calendar days following the last day of their previous employment period will be assigned the same seniority date as their previous period of employment. Employees will not accrue seniority during a layoff. An employee who has transferred out of the bargaining unit for a period of six (6) months or less and remains in the continuous employ of the District, may transfer back into the bargaining unit classification he/she held prior to transferring out of the bargaining unit. If the transfer of such a person back into the bargaining unit requires the layoff of a bargaining unit employee, the returning employee shall wait until the next eligible opening, which he/she shall immediately be placed into.

  • RATE ADJUSTMENTS 1. Taxes applicable to the gas delivered to Buyer hereunder as are in effect on January 1,\ immediately preceding the effective date of these terms and conditions shall be added to Buyer's bill.   • Fee Adjustments The fixed fees and other fees expressed as stated dollar amounts in this Schedule C and in this Agreement are subject to annual increases, commencing on the one-year anniversary date of the date of this Agreement, in an amount equal to the percentage increase in consumer prices for services as measured by the United States Consumer Price Index entitled “All Services Less Rent of Shelter,” or a similar index should such index no longer be published, since such one-year anniversary or since the date of the last fee increase, as applicable.   • Wage Adjustments If the funding available to be used for wages provided by Government in any fiscal year increases, the Employer shall pass on such increases to employees consistent with the funding increase adjusted for any additional deficits that this contract incurs. This will be the case whether the funding increase is for the entire year or simply a portion of it, and wage increases shall be effective upon the effective date of the increased funding. Should there be no increase provided by Government, wages will be maintained at their present levels. Should there be a decrease in funding, then the Employer will maintain wages at present levels. The Employer will promptly provide the Union with any information it receives from the Government regarding funding available for wages, and the parties will meet as required to work towards cooperative resolution of any issues arising from this Government information.

  • SALARY STEP INCREASES a. Increases to steps above the entry step shall be based on performance and length of service. The employee must have earned the equivalent of at least twenty-six

  • Price Adjustments for OGS Centralized Contracts Periodic price adjustments will occur no more than twice per year on a schedule to be established solely by OGS. Pricing offered shall be fixed for the first twelve (12) months of the Contract term. Such price increases will only apply to the OGS Centralized Contracts and shall not be applied retroactively to Authorized User Agreements or any Mini-bids already submitted to an Authorized User. Price Decreases Price decreases may be made at any time. Additionally, some price decreases shall be calculated in accordance with Appendix B, section 17, Pricing.

  • Rate Adjustment (a) An employee who is set back to a lower paid job because of mechanization, technological change or automation will receive the rate of his regular job at the time of the setback for a period of three (3) months and for a further period of three (3) months he will be paid an adjusted rate which will be midway between the rate of his regular job at the time of the setback and the rate of his new regular job. At the end of this 6-month period the rate of his new regular job will apply. However, such employee will have the option of terminating his employment and accepting severance pay as outlined in Section 5 below, providing he exercises this option within the above-referred-to 6-month period.

  • Seniority Date Employees shall acquire seniority upon completion of the probationary period as defined in Article XIII and upon acquiring seniority, the seniority date shall relate back to the first date of continuous service in the bargaining unit. If more than one employee commences work on the same date, lot shall determine seniority ranking for such employees. A District-Wide seniority list will be provided for the exclusive representative no later than November 1 of each year.
