Seniority Calculation. Seniority will be calculated on the basis of calendar days of employment as a member of the bargaining unit during a period of uninterrupted service with the Corporation as a regular employee. Part-time regular employees will earn a proportion of calendar days in accordance with Article 4.06.
Seniority Calculation. For the purposes of this Agreement, seniority shall be defined as 13 the length of continuous regular service which includes seniority accrued with the former DYS 14 without a break in that service.
Seniority Calculation. Seniority shall be defined as an employee’s most recent period of continuous employment with the District in a position covered under this agreement (i.e., date of hire/rehire). If an employee changes job families within the bargaining unit, his/her seniority will stay the same. Time spent on unpaid leaves of absence or layoff shall not be counted for seniority purposes, however, such time shall not count as a break in service.
Seniority Calculation. 5.7.1 Seniority for employees who work part-time will be calculated on the pro-rated basis.

Seniority and length of service for all purposes related to bargaining unit members shall be determined by hire date by classification for those unit members hired on or after July 1, 1989. Seniority for unit members hired July 1, 1989 shall be determined by hours in paid service. Bargaining unit seniority shall commence upon an employees’ date of permanent entry into the bargaining unit described in Section 1.1 of this Agreement. Department seniority shall be defined as an employee’s length of continuous, full-time employment as a sworn officer with the Employer since his last hiring date. Last hiring date shall mean the date when the employee first reported for work as a sworn patrol officer for the Employer and assumes that they remain an active employee. Classification seniority shall mean the continuous time spent as a permanent (post probationary) employee in any bargaining unit classification of Lieutenant or Sergeant. No time shall be deducted from an employee’s seniority due to authorized leaves of absence, vacation, sick or accident leaves or demotions or layoffs due to budget reductions. However, employees shall not accrue seniority during unpaid non Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) or unpaid work or unpaid medical leaves of absence for over thirty (30) calendar days.
Seniority Calculation. There shall be two (2) types of seniority; namely company seniority and classification seniority.
Seniority Calculation. 9.3.1 Classification seniority within each specific job category shall be based on length of continuous service from the date of employment in the school district.
