Common use of Security of Electronic Protected Health Information Clause in Contracts

Security of Electronic Protected Health Information. Business Associate agrees to: (1) implement administrative, physical, and technical safeguards that reasonably and appropriately protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Electronic Protected Health Information that it creates, receives, maintains or transmits on behalf of Metro; (2) ensure that any agent, including a subcontractor, to whom it provides such information agrees to implement reasonable and appropriate safeguards to protect it; and

Business Associate agrees to: (1) implement will develop, implement, maintain, and use administrative, physicaltechnical, and technical physical safeguards that reasonably and appropriately protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Electronic Protected Health Information (as defined in 45 C.F.R. § 160.103) that it Business Associate creates, receives, maintains maintains, or transmits on behalf of Metro; (2) ensure that any agent, including a subcontractor, to whom it provides such information agrees to implement reasonable and appropriate safeguards to protect it; andthe Plans consistent with the Security Rule.

Security of Electronic Protected Health Information. Business Associate agrees to: (1) to implement administrative, physical, physical and technical safeguards that are reasonably and appropriately designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, integrity and availability of the Electronic Protected Health Information that it creates, receives, maintains or transmits on behalf of MetroCovered Entity; (2) ensure that any agent, including a subcontractor, to whom it provides such information agrees in writing to implement reasonable and appropriate safeguards to protect it; andand (3) report to the Covered Entity any security incidents of which it becomes aware in accordance with Section 2.3.
