Common use of Security and Confidentiality Clause in Contracts

Security and Confidentiality. The Contractor shall maintain the security of any information created under this Contract that is identified or defined as “confidential” in the Scope of Work. The Contractor shall not divulge to third parties any confidential information obtained by the Contractor or its agents, distributors, resellers, subcontractors, officers or employees in the course of performing Contract work. To ensure confidentiality, the Contractor shall take appropriate steps regarding its personnel, agents, and subcontractors. The warranties of this paragraph shall survive the Contract.
