SECURE HANDLING OF UCF DATA. The University requires Contractors and other third parties to review, accept, and integrate secure data handling requirements as part of any contract, agreement, or Service Level Agreement (“SLA”) that involves the storage, transmission, processing, or collection of UCF data, or access to UCF data, by the Contractor. Additional agreements may be required depending on the data involved. This Agreement is intended to ensure that UCF’s security and compliance requirements are outlined and followed by the Contractor.   • Electronic and Information Resources Accessibility and Security Standards a. Applicability: The following Electronic and Information Resources (“EIR”) requirements apply to the Contract because the Grantee performs services that include EIR that the System Agency's employees are required or permitted to access or members of the public are required or permitted to access. This Section does not apply to incidental uses of EIR in the performance of the Agreement, unless the Parties agree that the EIR will become property of the State of Texas or will be used by HHSC’s clients or recipients after completion of the Agreement. Each party shall reasonably assist the other party in its documentation requirements, including providing the information the other party needs from it in a manner reasonably requested by the other party (such as using an electronic system), in order to enable the other party to comply with any obligations relating to maintaining records of processing.
