Section 9.8.4. 9 When an individual in layoff status is offered reemployment to a position for which he/she 10 possesses the skill, ability, and qualifications, such individual may refuse two (2) offers of 11 reemployment without penalty, provided that the individual refuses such offer(s) within twenty- 12 four (24) hours of such offer(s). Section 9.8.4. 26 An employee on layoff status who rejects an offer of reemployment forfeits seniority and all 27 other accrued benefits; provided, that such employee is offered a position substantially similar 28 to that held prior to layoff.
