Section 9.7.1.1. 6 When an employee is on a leave of absence for a period of three (3) or more months, 7 the Human Resources office will send him/her a letter via registered mail within a 8 month of the termination of that leave requesting whether or not the employee plans to 9 return, retire or ask for an extension. It is expected that the employee return said 10 questionnaire within two (2) weeks of the request. If the employee does not return the 11 questionnaire or contact the Human Resources office with the answer to the 12 questionnaire within the two-(2) week timeframe, it is assumed that the employee is not 13 planning on returning therefore forfeiting all seniority rights and a letter to that effect 14 will be sent to the employee.
