Section 8.3.2. 36 Three (3) of the five (5) days described previously may be allowed for paternity leave, on or about 37 the day of the birth of an employee's child. 38
Section 8.3.2. 21 The following stipulations shall govern the granting of maternity/paternity/adoption leave:
Section 8.3.2. 9 Any employee who is discharged or who terminates employment shall receive payment for 10 unused accrued vacation credit with their final paycheck. 14 A R T I C L E I X 16 LEAVES
Section 8.3.2. 37 Employees working less than 260 days shall not utilize vacation time during the regular 38 school/work year and shall therefore receive a prorated payment for accrued vacation credit. 40 Section 8.3.3. 41 Payment for vacation shall be made monthly in equal installments beginning in September of 42 each year.
Section 8.3.2. 11 In computing the total vacation credit for any period of service, part of an hour will be 12 disregarded if less than one-half (½) hour; otherwise it shall be counted as a full hour.
Section 8.3.2. 28 In the event employees are absent for reasons which are covered by Industrial Insurance, the 29 District shall pay the employee an amount equal to the difference between the amount paid the 30 employee by the Department of Labor and Industries and the amount the employee would have 31 normally earned. A deduction shall be made from the employee's accumulated sick leave in 32 accordance with the amount paid to the employee by the District.
Section 8.3.2. 2 Eligibility for use of vacation credit shall be determined as follows:
Section 8.3.2. 17 Effective September 1, 1989, all employees working more than one hundred ninety (190) days 18 but less than two hundred forty (240) days shall be entitled to a paid holiday on 19 NewYear's Day.
Section 8.3.2. 29 Prior to retirement, an employee shall be provided with sufficient vacation leave which will 30 prevent the employee from having accrued vacation leave in excess of thirty (30) days on the 31 employee’s retirement date. 34 35 A R T I C L E I X 36 37 LEAVES
Section 8.3.2. 16 Each employee shall be entitled to a maximum of five (5) days leave deductible from the 18 family. Immediate family shall include an employee’s child age eighteen or over, parent, 19 parent-in-law, step-parent, sibling, grandparent, or grandchild.
