Section 7.9.3. 45 All hours worked on Sunday, as defined herein, shall be compensated at the rate of twice the 46 employee's base pay. All hours worked on Sunday in excess of the employee's normal shift 47 shall be compensated at a rate of four (4) times the employee's base pay.
Section 7.9.3. 5 All hours worked on the seventh (7th) consecutive day shall be compensated at the rate of twice 6 the employee's base pay.
Section 7.9.3. All hours worked on Saturday shall be compensated at the rate of one and one-half (1½) 23 times the employee's regular hourly rate.
Section 7.9.3. 13 Employees called back to the school site on a regular workday, or called on the sixth (6th) or 14 seventh (7th) consecutive workday, shall receive no less than two (2) hours pay at the 15 appropriate rate.
Section 7.9.3. 13 A route will be declared open and subject to bidding in the event of vacancies regardless of 14 reason for the vacancy which exceed, or are projected to exceed, thirty (30) workdays. 15 Subsequent bidding shall be accomplished to "back fill" any route declared open as a result of 16 any previous bid. 18 In the event that the vacancy is temporary, and the original driver is entitled to return to his/her 19 position, the route(s) shall revert to the original assigned driver(s) upon the return of the driver 20 whose absence initiated the bidding procedure. The District will assign a substitute driver to 21 fill an open position created as a result of any bidding procedure initiated as a result of a 22 qualifying temporary vacancy. 24 Newly created routes, projected to exist more than thirty (30) workdays, shall be subject to 25 bidding procedures in the same manner as routes declared open. In the event of the layoff or 26 termination of an established route or portion of route that would reduce a driver's route by 27 fifteen (15) minutes or more, the route of a less senior person may be claimed.
Section 7.9.3. 11 It is the intent of the parties to not replace regular bus drivers on extra bus trips by use of 12 individuals with Type II driver certification. Nor is it the intent of the parties to use Type II
Section 7.9.3. 8 All hours worked on the sixth (6th) and seventh (7th) consecutive days by employees assigned 9 an alternative workweek shall be compensated at the rate of twice the employee’s base pay.
Section 7.9.3. 48 In the event the school calendar includes an early release day on the day before Thanksgiving, 1 employees shall have the option to leave work early yet receive a full day of pay at their regular 2 scheduled hours. If leave is used on the day before Thanksgiving, a full day of leave will be 3 used consistent with payment at the employee’s regularly scheduled hours. The parties shall 4 meet annually following Board approval of the school calendar to review the use of half-days 5 in the school calendar.
Section 7.9.3. 20 Employees in these position(s) will be requested to drive by the Director of Transportation or 21 designee on a rotating basis. 22
