Section 7.10.2. 21 The method for bidding of extra trips is as follows:
Section 7.10.2. 29 An employee may elect to take compensatory time off in lieu of overtime pay as provided for 30 in the previous subsection. Such compensatory time shall be taken at the rate of one and one- 32 immediate Supervisor.
Section 7.10.2. 16 The committee may conduct its business at the District’s option during non-working hours and 17 shall have the following responsibilities:
Section 7.10.2. 22 All hours worked on the sixth (6th) consecutive day shall be compensated at the rate of one and 23 one-half (1½) times the employee's base pay.
Section 7.10.2. 23 Route times will be posted and available for inspection by the drivers at least five (5) working 24 days prior to the last working day of September. The bidding will occur on the last three (3) 25 working days of September and new routes and route assignments will begin on the first working 26 day of October. There will be no bumping of routes by drivers between bids. Open and new AM 27 and PM routes shall be posted for bid when they become available. Drivers may bid these 28 routes only if it would increase their regular route times by one-half (1/2) hour or more, or 29 decrease route times by fifteen (15) minutes or more, provided such limit is waived where an 30 otherwise senior employee is disqualified from bidding a route that would make him/her 31 eligible for benefits. 32 33 Transfers will be bid, in order of seniority, by the driver whose route concludes at the point 34 where the transfer originates. Once the transfer is attached to a regular route it remains with 35 that route until the next September’s bid. 37 Each driver and aide shall have up to fifteen (15) minutes to select a route. In consultation with 38 the transportation supervisor, driver representatives of the Association will arrange scheduled 39 appointed bidding times for all drivers. Should a driver or aide fail to bid during the allotted 40 fifteen (15) minute period, that driver will be bypassed, allowing the next senior driver to bid. 41 Route times shall be adjusted quarterly to ensure that the appropriate driving time is accurate. 42 43 If a route becomes vacant, the transfer portion will be re-bid as a separate entity. Transfers will 44 be bid, in order of seniority, by the driver whose route concludes at the point where the transfer 45 originates. Once the transfer is attached to a regular route it remains with that route until the 46 next September’s bid.
Section 7.10.2. 31 The minimum shift for Paraeducators shall be two (2) hours per day which may include other job 32 assignments. Two (2) hour Paraeducators will be allowed up to a maximum of twenty percent 33 (20%) of the number of full-time Paraeducators.

An employee does not receive a minimum callback for each school or location.

  • Section 7.4 43 In the event an employee is assigned to a shift less than the normal work shift previously 44 defined in this Article, the employee shall be given a fifteen (15) minute rest period for each 45 consecutive/continuous four (4) hours of work. Employees assigned six (6) or more hours shall 46 be given two (2) 15-minute rest periods and an unpaid lunch period.

  • Section 7.2 25 Each employee shall be assigned to a definite and regular shift and workweek, which shall not be 26 changed without prior notice to the employee of two (2) calendar weeks, except in emergencies.

  • Section 6.3 7 Visitation rights shall be granted to the designated representative of the Public School Employees of 8 Washington to visit with employees in the appropriate bargaining units for purposes of grievance 9 procedures and/or general information data. The visiting delegate shall notify the School District of 10 his/her arrival. The visitation rights shall not interfere with the employees normal work routine.

  • Section 6.2 13 The Association representatives may represent the Association and employees in meeting with officials 14 of the District to discuss appropriate matters of mutual interest. They may receive and investigate to 15 conclusion complaints or grievances of employees on District time and thereafter advise employees of 16 rights and procedures outlined in this Agreement and applicable regulations or directives for resolving 17 the grievances or complaints. They may not, however, continue to advise the employee on courses of 18 action after the employee has indicated a desire not to pursue a grievance. This does not, however, 19 preclude the Association's right to pursue the matter to conclusion. They may consult with the District 20 on complaints without a grievance being made by an individual employee.

  • Section 7.3 42 Each employee shall be assigned to a definite shift with designated times of beginning and ending.
