Section 6.6.1. 44 The District shall provide a bulletin board in each school for the exclusive use of the Association. 45 The bulletins posted by the Association are the responsibility of the officials of the Association. 46 Each bulletin shall be signed by the Association official responsible for its posting. Unsigned 47 notices or bulletins may not be posted. There shall be no other distribution or posting by 1 employees or the Association of pamphlets, advertising, political matters, notices of any kind, or 2 literature on District property, other than herein provided.
Section 6.6.1. 3 The Transportation Director shall post, four (4) workdays prior to the annual bid meeting, the 4 route duties for the current school year. Route times will be indicated as accurately as possible. 5 Drivers will be able to choose routes according to seniority. 7 Regular routes, including FIT, late routes including but not limited to Boys & Girls Club, and 8 mid-day routes will be the three (3) major routes provided for a basis of bid at the annual 9 meeting. Additional routes may be added only at the mutual agreement of both parties with ten 10 (10) days’ advance notice of the annual meeting. Regular Drivers signing up to substitute for any 11 routes shall sign up at the annual bid meeting.
Section 6.6.1. 1.1. 38 Regular drivers signing up for late routes shall sign up at biddings held at the start 39 of each semester. If a driver misses more than ten percent (10%) of their assigned 40 late routes in a semester for reasons not covered under Section 8.1.2 or Section 8.2 41 of this Agreement, that driver will not be eligible to drive their late routes for the 42 duration of the semester and will not be allowed to bid for a late routes the 43 following semester.
Section 6.6.1. 31 Instructional Assistants (excluding substitutes) whose regularly scheduled hours of work are 32 reduced more than a total of one (1) hour during two (2) consecutive school years will have 33 first right of refusal to restoration of hours as they become available in the Assistant’s 34 building/worksite provided the Assistant is qualified to perform the work of the available 35 hours. If more than one (1) employee has lost hours in excess of one (1) hour within a 36 building/worksite time added back will be offered on the basis of seniority provided the 37 Assistant has submitted a written showing of interest for additional time to his/her principal 38 or site supervisor. 39 40 Principals/directors will notify all employees within their building/worksite about any 41 available extra hours. An employee will forfeit rights to reinstate hours if they do not 42 respond to the first offer of hours within three (3) work days.
Section 6.6.1. 38 Employees called for additional service, not part of the employee's normal work shift or 39 workday, shall receive no less than two (2) hours pay at the regular rate as shown in 40 Schedule A, provided the employee has left the assigned work site.
Section 6.6.1. 21 In applying for new or open positions, the selected current employee will be given a thirty (30) 22 work day trial period. If the new job proves to be unsatisfactory to the employee, or the 24 employee shall be reassigned to the formerly held position.

  • Section 6.3 7 Visitation rights shall be granted to the designated representative of the Public School Employees of 8 Washington to visit with employees in the appropriate bargaining units for purposes of grievance 9 procedures and/or general information data. The visiting delegate shall notify the School District of 10 his/her arrival. The visitation rights shall not interfere with the employees normal work routine.

  • Section 7.4 43 In the event an employee is assigned to a shift less than the normal work shift previously 44 defined in this Article, the employee shall be given a fifteen (15) minute rest period for each 45 consecutive/continuous four (4) hours of work. Employees assigned six (6) or more hours shall 46 be given two (2) 15-minute rest periods and an unpaid lunch period.

  • Section 6.2 13 The Association representatives may represent the Association and employees in meeting with officials 14 of the District to discuss appropriate matters of mutual interest. They may receive and investigate to 15 conclusion complaints or grievances of employees on District time and thereafter advise employees of 16 rights and procedures outlined in this Agreement and applicable regulations or directives for resolving 17 the grievances or complaints. They may not, however, continue to advise the employee on courses of 18 action after the employee has indicated a desire not to pursue a grievance. This does not, however, 19 preclude the Association's right to pursue the matter to conclusion. They may consult with the District 20 on complaints without a grievance being made by an individual employee.

  • Section 7.5 16 Employees required to work through their regular lunch periods will be given time to eat at a time 17 agreed upon by the employee and supervisor. In the event the District requires an employee to forego 18 a lunch period and the employee works the entire shift, including the lunch period, the employee shall 19 be compensated for the foregone lunch period at one and one-half (1½) the regular rate.

  • Section 5.3 40 It is further recognized that this Agreement does not alter the responsibility of either party to meet with 41 the other party to advise, discuss or consult regarding matters concerning working conditions not 42 covered by this Agreement. 43

  • Section 7.3 42 Each employee shall be assigned to a definite shift with designated times of beginning and ending.

  • Section 4.5 37 The President of the Association and designated representatives will be provided time off without loss of 38 pay to a maximum of three (3) days per year to attend regional or State meetings when the purpose of 39 those meetings is in the best interests of the District as determined by the District administration.

  • Section 4.3 11 The Association reserves and retains the right to delegate any right or duty contained herein to appropriate 12 officials of the Public School Employees of Washington State Organization.

  • Section 7.2 25 Each employee shall be assigned to a definite and regular shift and workweek, which shall not be 26 changed without prior notice to the employee of two (2) calendar weeks, except in emergencies.

  • Section 5.1 6 It is agreed and understood that matters appropriate for consultation and negotiation between the 7 District and the Association are those relating to or affecting hours, wages, grievance procedures and 8 general working conditions of employees in the bargaining unit subject to this agreement.
