Section 17.6.1. 11 Once qualified as a bargaining unit substitute, the employee will move to Schedule A, Step 1. 12 The bargaining unit substitute will be eligible to move up a step following the accumulation of 13 an additional one hundred (100) hours of work in a given general job classification pursuant to 14 Section 1.3. Such moves will become effective on September 1 following such accumulation 15 and only one (1) step will be given in any one (1) school year.
Section 17.6.1. The Employer reserves the right to conduct searches of District vehicles or District equipment at any time or place and seize, examine and test any property found as a result of any searches of those areas. The Employer reserves the right to conduct searches on District property. No search will be initiated unless the District has reasonable cause to proceed.

  • Section 14.3 24 The parties recognize that an employee should have the option of declining to participate as a member in 25 the Association, yet contribute financially to the activities of the Association in representing such 26 employee as a member of the collective bargaining unit.
