Section 10.8.1. 13 Job postings shall utilize the appropriate approved job description.
Section 10.8.1. 19 Employees enjoying seniority in an additional part-time position shall retain their hire date in 20 the additional position so long as there is no break in continuous assignment in that position in 21 excess of two (2) years.
Section 10.8.1. 33 Any job posting must include the job title, location, and number of hours and the number of 34 contracted days. A complete description of the job shall be available by the District to any 35 applicant who requests it.
Section 10.8.1. 43 If a regular driver fills a temporary position, his/her position will be posted as a temporary 44 position and filled by a qualified regular employee or a substitute driver. 46 All regular drivers affected by a temporary move will return to their former positions and 47 appropriate rates of pay when the temporary position has expired.
Section 10.8.1. 43 Employees on layoff shall have the opportunity to sign up for placement on the substitute list. 44 Pay will be according to Schedule A.
Section 10.8.1. 14 Employees may apply and be considered for hours that conflict with their current position if the 15 conflict is solely a result of Late Arrival/Early Dismissal schedules.
Section 10.8.1. 2 In order to minimize the domino effect in filling open positions, in a classification, the District 3 may expedite the filling of open positions by notifying and awarding the positions to senior 4 (interested) employees directly.
Section 10.8.1. 33 During the one (1) year period that an employee moving to a new classification retains 34 seniority in their former classification, the employee shall have the right to return to their 35 former classification provided there is an opening.
Section 10.8.1. 7 All temporary assignments of more than ten (10) hours in duration, excluding emergency 8 situations (e.g., time is of the essence), will either be posted for five (5) working days, or each 10 group setting. Specifics of the temporary assignment, including necessary skills, 11 schedule/duration, rate of pay, and other relevant information, will be provided with the notice.
Section 10.8.1. 2 Any open position, whether new or vacant, may be filled by substitutes for the time it takes to 3 fill the position. The District will make every effort to fill the posted position within thirty (30) 4 working days of the date of vacancy except positions that become vacant after May 1 for the 5 remainder of that school year.
