Common use of Scope of Use Clause in Contracts

Scope of Use. ‌ Any Authorized User may use the Product, and any software licensed in connection with such Product, on a worldwide basis for the benefit of itself and its agents. Supplier further authorizes use of the Product by third parties who are under contract with an Authorized User to provide outsourcing services, including but not limited to providing application development services, data processing or facilities or infrastructure management services for the benefit of such Authorized User. For Products to which the Commonwealth or an Authorized User takes title, and any System Software which is integral to such Products, under the terms of this Contract, there are no restrictions on subsequent resale or distribution thereof by the Commonwealth or such Authorized User.
