SCOPE OF THIS CONTRACT DOCUMENT AND ASSIGNMENT OF WORK TO LONGSHOREMEN. This Contract Document, as supplemented by agreements (Port Supplements and Working Rules) for the various port ar- eas covered hereby, shall apply to all employees who are em- ployed by the members of the Association to perform work covered herein. It is the intent of this Contract Document to preserve the existing work of such employees.

  • Assignment and Subcontractors Provider shall not assign, sublet, or transfer this Agreement or any rights under or interest in this Agreement without the prior written consent of the DISTRICT, which may be withheld by the DISTRICT in its sole and absolute discretion for any reason. Nothing contained herein shall prevent Provider from employing independent associates, subcontractors, and sub consultants as Provider may deem appropriate to assist in the performance of services herein, subject to the prior written approval of the DISTRICT. Any attempted assignment, sublease, or transfer in violation of this Agreement shall be null and void, and of no force and affect. Any attempted assignment, sublet, or transfer in violation of this Agreement shall be grounds for the DISTRICT, in its sole discretion, to terminate the Agreement.

  • Assignment and Subcontracting City and Consultant recognize and agree that this Agreement contemplates personal performance by Consultant and is based upon a determination of Consultant’s unique personal competence, experience, and specialized personal knowledge. Moreover, a substantial inducement to City for entering into this Agreement was and is the professional reputation and competence of Consultant. Consultant may not assign this Agreement or any interest therein without the prior written approval of the City. Consultant shall not subcontract any portion of the performance contemplated and provided for herein, other than to the subcontractors listed in the Consultant’s proposal, without prior written approval of the City.

  • ASSIGNMENT AND SUB-CONTRACTING 19.1 The Contractor shall not assign or sub-contract any obligations under the Contract without the prior consent of the Authority, which shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed. Sub-contracting any part of the Contract shall not relieve the Contractor of any of its obligations or duties.

  • COMMENCEMENT OF WORK UNDER A SOW AGREEMENT Commencement of work as a result of the SOW-RFP process shall be initiated only upon issuance of a fully executed SOW Agreement and Purchase Order.

  • ASSIGNMENT AND SUBCONTRACT 16.1. If any Affiliate of either Party succeeds to that portion of the business of such Party that is responsible for, or entitled to, any rights, obligations, duties, or other interests under this Agreement, such Affiliate may succeed to those rights, obligations, duties, and interest of such Party under this Agreement.   • Statement of Work The Contractor shall provide the services and staff, and otherwise do all things necessary for or incidental to the performance of work, as set forth below:

  • Commencement and Completion of Work Upon the Effective Date of the Contract, bidder agrees to commence all Preconstruction Activities. Upon issuance of a Proceed Order, bidder agrees to commence physical activities on the Site with adequate forces and equipment and to complete to Material Completion all work in 90 consecutive calendar days beginning the day after the date of the Proceed Order.   • Authorized User’s Statement of Work A competitive Mini-Bid is required for every transaction under this Centralized Contract. An Authorized User must prepare a detailed Statement of Work using Appendix F, Attachment 1, Mini-Bid Template. The Authorized User must distribute the Mini-Bid to all qualified Vendors per Lot(s) (unless a Vendor has removed itself from consideration via the Appendix F, Attachment 5, Mini-Bid Participation Interest Template). Contact information, organized by Lot, will be available on the OGS website for this Contract. An Authorized User shall conduct its Mini-Bid in accordance with the requirements set forth in Appendix F, Attachment 2, How to Use this Contract.   • DELEGATION, ASSIGNMENT AND SUBCONTRACTS A. CONTRACTOR may not delegate the obligations hereunder, either in whole or in part, without prior written consent of COUNTY. CONTRACTOR shall provide written notification of CONTRACTOR’s intent to delegate the obligations hereunder, either in whole or part, to ADMINISTRATOR not less than sixty (60) calendar days prior to the effective date of the delegation. Any attempted assignment or delegation in derogation of this paragraph shall be void.
