Scope of Participation. The PARTICIPANT shall fulfill the requirements set forth in Attachment 1, which is hereby made a part of this MOA.

Scope of Participation a. The Agency's participation in HIDTA Region III activities to support the HIDTA strategy consists, without limitation, of overtime hours spent by Agency's law enforcement officers, agents, deputies, and police officers engaging in undercover narcotics investigations and other activities to support the HIDTA strategy. Other HIDTA-related activities are those program activities described on the budget submitted by the HIDTA Region III in its annual IIlDTA grant application.
Scope of Participation. 1.1 Participants must be over 16 years of age. Participants under 16 years of age and over 12 years of age must be accompanied by an appropriate adult and accept full responsibility for the under 16 member/single class participant.

The parties acknowledge and agree that County and/or Agency bear responsibility for the Joint Projects, depending upon the location and ultimate ownership of the improvements involved in each case. The Agency Contribution to the Joint Projects is limited to the contribution of committed funds in the amount of $7,840,000, plus accrued interest, as set forth in this Agreement. Agency’s participation in contributing funds to Joint Projects does not create any obligation on the part of the Agency to participate in any additional funding beyond said amount of $7,840,000, plus accrued interest. Agency and County agree that Agency funds will be used for purposes consistent with the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health & Safety Code 33000, et seq.), including project design, acquisition, administration, planning, permits, environmental review, work done as a result of environmental review, legal fees, financing, rehabilitation, construction, inspection, or project management related to the Joint Projects.

Agency’s participation in the North Embarcadero Project Improvements is limited to the contribution of committed funds in the amount of $31,360,000, as set forth in this Agreement and the Schedule of Annual Payments. Agency’s participation in contributing funding to North Embarcadero Project Improvements does not create any obligation on the part of the Agency to participate in any additional funding, construction, development, maintenance, or operations for the North Embarcadero Project Improvements.
