Scope of Design Services. Project Definition The Project Definition Phase is intended to identify and evaluate alternatives to provide cost-effective and practical solutions for the work items identified. Tampa International Airport has requested, as a part of the initial phase, Manhattan and C&S evaluate alternatives through coordination with stakeholders, review of the pre-proposal documents, field in- vestigations, and a practical design approach. Overall result of Project Definition will be incorporated in the 30% Schematic Drawings for review by all stakeholders. The specific services to be provided or furnished for this Phase of the Project are the following: Up Front Field Work/Investigation/Coordination (all items listed below to be performed and coor- dinated by entire Design and Construction Team):
Scope of Design Services tBP/Architecture will provide the following basic Design Services as set out in the Conditions to Agreement and as modified herein.

  • Release of Design Plan The Engineer (1) will not release any roadway design plan created or collected under this contract except to its subproviders as necessary to complete the contract; (2) shall include a provision in all subcontracts which acknowledges the State’s ownership of the design plan and prohibits its use for any use other than the project identified in this contract; and (3) is responsible for any improper use of the design plan by its employees, officers, or subproviders, including costs, damages, or other liability resulting from improper use. Neither the Engineer nor any subprovider may charge a fee for the portion of the design plan created by the State.

  • Coordination of Design and Construction Contract Documents 5.5.1 Review model(s), Drawings, Specifications and other Construction Documents as they are developed by A/E during the Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents design phases of the Project.
