Science Teachers any unit member that has a credential in Science and teaches that subject for more than 50% of the day shall be paid an annual stipend of one thousand dollars ($1,000) or at a factor of 0.020.

Science Teachers. After consultation with and receiving the advice of the teacher providing the instruction in the classroom, the District shall assure that science teachers have adequate equipment and supplies for each student. If safety issues are raised by the employee, the employee and the principal will confer on the issues to find a mutually agreeable solution.
Science Teachers. It is the goal of the District to provide a schedule for high school science teachers of not more than 25 periods per week on average over the academic year. If this goal cannot be met within one academic year, the average of 25 classes per week shall be met over a two- year period. If due to unique circumstances this cannot be accomplished, any classes over 25 will be compensated at the rate of 1/1000th of the yearly salary per hour for each class scheduled in excess of 25. The amount will be prorated for the actual amount of time with payment being made at the outset of the second semester of the second year. Any teacher who in the first year of a two-year averaging period has a teaching schedule with over 25 periods and is not employed by the District for the following year, will be compensated at the above rate by June 30 of the first year.
Science Teachers. Notwithstanding any article or provision of this contract to the contrary, teachers who teach science may be assigned up to the equivalent of thirty (30) teaching periods over a six (6) day cycle, plus on a voluntary basis an additional thirty-first (31st), thirty-second (32nd), thirty-third (33rd) and thirty-fourth (34th) period with their consent. The District will solicit volunteers from among the staff. The teacher(s) will be compensated at the rate of $48.71 for each period over thirty (30) within the six (6) day cycle. Effective July 1, 2007 such rate shall increase to $50.17. Effective July 1, 2008 such rate shall increase to $51.93. Such additional assignments may be for laboratory periods. On the day(s) that the science teacher is assigned to more than five (5) periods they shall have no duties. In the event there are insufficient volunteers from among the science staff, the Union President and the Superintendent of Schools- shall meet to determine how the needs of the District will be met.

If remote access is approved, Personnel will use multi-factor authentication, which may include the use of smart cards with certificates, One Time Password (OTP) tokens, and biometrics.

  • Financial Management System Subrecipient shall establish and maintain a sound financial management system, based upon generally accepted accounting principles. Contractor’s system shall provide fiscal control and accounting procedures that will include the following:

  • Construction Management Plan Contractor shall prepare and furnish to the Owner a thorough and complete plan for the management of the Project from issuance of the Proceed Order through the issuance of the Design Professional's Certificate of Material Completion. Such plan shall include, without limitation, an estimate of the manpower requirements for each trade and the anticipated availability of such manpower, a schedule prepared using the critical path method that will amplify and support the schedule required in Article 2.1.5 below, and the Submittal Schedule as required in Article 2.2.3. The Contractor shall include in his plan the names and resumés of the Project Superintendent, Project Manager and the person in charge of Safety.

  • Non-Tenured Teachers A leave may be granted to a non-tenured teacher by action of the Board of Education, subject to all the conditions applicable to a tenured teacher. However, for a school term to count toward the attainment of tenure, the non-tenured teacher must work at least one hundred twenty (120) full time employment days. A school term that is not counted toward attainment of tenure shall not be considered a break in service for purposes of determining whether the non- tenured teacher has been employed for the period of time necessary to attain tenure, provided that the non-tenured teacher actually teaches or is otherwise present and participating in District 34’s educational program in the following school term. The granting of maternity leave to any non-tenured teacher shall not constitute a precedent for the granting or withholding of leave to any other non-tenured teacher. Each request shall be judged on its own merits and shall be within the sole discretion of the Board. Additional conditions or restrictions may be established for any such leave, provided nothing herein shall be construed as requiring any non-tenured teacher to apply for such leave or accept the conditions established therefore.

  • Outpatient Dental Anesthesia Services This plan covers anesthesia services received in connection with a dental service when provided in a hospital or freestanding ambulatory surgical center and: • the use of this is medically necessary; and • the setting in which the service is received is determined to be appropriate. This plan also covers facility fees associated with these services.

  • Destination CSU-Pueblo scholarship This articulation transfer agreement replaces all previous agreements between CCA and CSU-Pueblo in Bachelor of Science in Physics (Secondary Education Emphasis). This agreement will be reviewed annually and revised (if necessary) as mutually agreed.
