School Librarians. 1. Each secondary school shall have a full-time certified librarian assigned, except where enrollment at the school is insufficient to warrant the full-time position.

School Librarians. Middle School librarians shall have an extended contract for the purpose of providing open libraries from the first day of school through the last day of school. This extended contract will be for eight (8) days. Four (4) days are to be used before the first day of the regular teaching contract and four (4) days after the last day of the regular teaching contract unless the staff member and his/her immediate supervisor agree otherwise. Pay for the eight (8) days shall be at the per diem rate of the librarian.
School Librarians. Librarians in charge of secondary school libraries who hold the degree of Bachelor Library Science, which requires one year of special library training after receipt of a Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree shall be placed on the Master's Degree salary level.

  • Librarians The normal work week for librarians is 35 hours per week. The maximum for reference desk coverage is 20 hours per week. Individual faculty members may elect to exceed this maximum. Where librarians are involved in instructional modes listed in Article 12.03, these shall be pro-rated. For part-time regular and non-regular type 2 librarians, part of their assignment shall be scheduled as non reference desk duties as agreed upon by the librarian and the administrator responsible. Scheduling work shall follow past practices and shall be delivered in cooperation with the administrator responsible.

  • Curriculum Vitae (a) The Chief Librarian shall maintain a curriculum vita for each Librarian. It is the Librarian’s responsibility to ensure that the curriculum vita on file is kept current. Members shall prepare their curriculum vita with the advice and assistance of their Chief Librarian. Members may revise their curriculum vita at any time.

  • Programming (a) Pursuant to Section 624 of the Cable Act, the Licensee shall maintain the mix, quality and broad categories of Programming set forth in Exhibit 4, attached hereto and made a part hereof.
