School Discretion. School has sole discretion in determining teaching methods, assigning instructors, arranging performance opportunities, and otherwise operating the School. Such changes may reflect COVID-19 or other health and safety concerns, government orders and guidelines, or other factors. To that end, Parent and Student acknowledge and agree that School may:  change teaching methods including, without limitation, moving to full online instruction;  change instructors or other staff that interact with Student;  change the schedule for classes and other activities;  change student evaluation methodologies;  require temperature checks prior to entry to School facilities and mask-wearing or other measures while in School facilities including, without limitation, during classes, rehearsals, and physical training activities;  quarantine or otherwise limit Student’s access to classes, rehearsals, performances, tours, events, and other activities;  restrict access to School facilities and services  restrict Parent, family, friend, or other third party access to School facilities and activities; and  take such other actions as School in its sole discretion determines are appropriate.

  • School discipline The Parents accept the authority of the Headmaster and of other members of staff on the Headmaster's behalf to take all reasonable disciplinary or preventative action necessary to safeguard and promote the welfare of the Pupil and the School community as a whole. The School's policies on behaviour and discipline current at the time and published on the School website apply to all pupils at the School and at all times when the Pupil is in or at school, (including when engaged in online or remote learning), representing the School or wearing School uniform, travelling to or from School, on School-organised trips or associated with the School at any time. The policies shall also apply at all times and places in circumstances where failing to apply this policy may affect the health, safety or wellbeing of a member of the School community or a member of the public, have repercussions for the orderly running of the School or bring the School into disrepute.

  • Education Committee (a) The Employer will establish an Education Committee for all employees in the facility, which shall include at least one representative from ONA members.

  • SCHOOL STAFF COMMITTEES 1. If the majority of the teaching staff in the school so decide, there shall be established a recognized staff committee in that school.

  • District’s Sole Discretion District in its sole discretion may terminate this Contract for any reason on 30 days’ written notice to Contractor.

  • Association-Management Committee There shall be an Association-Management Committee comprised of two (2) representatives of the parties. The Committee shall meet quarterly, unless otherwise mutually agreed. Agenda items to be discussed shall be exchanged in writing at least five calendar days prior to the meeting. Meetings of this Committee will be to discuss matters of mutual concern, matters relating to nursing, professional practice, scheduling and work load issues. The Committee shall promote and provide for effective and meaningful communication. The parties agree Self Scheduling is appropriate subject matter to discuss in this forum.

  • Special Education Committee The parties agree to establish a committee comprised of representatives from ETFO, the Ministry of Education and school board leadership in the area of special education. Additional representatives may be invited as resources to the committee as needed. The committee will discuss current issues as identified by the parties related to supporting students with special education needs. The committee shall meet regularly commencing no later than November 30, 2015 and recommendations will be made to the Minister of Education by April 30, 2016. Terms of reference will be jointly developed to inform the scope of discussions and recommendations.
