School Assignment. 1. Assignment within a school shall be based on the qualifications, training, experience and personal preference of the teacher, and shall not be used for disciplinary purposes.
School Assignment. Each Local Educational Agency (LEA) or Community College will have its own process for enrollment. The Apprenticeship Training Coordinator is responsible for the educational requirements and class enrollment for all apprentices. The Apprenticeship Training Coordinator will:  Assign, register for related training/class and pay the required tuition each term or for each training  Ensure that all apprentices have the necessary books, materials, tools and equipment for the class he/she will be attending  Print a list of apprentices assigned to each LEA/Community College  Compare and reconcile the list with the previous semester list  Review courses offered by the LEA/Community College  Determine which classes are needed by each apprentice  Assign necessary classes to apprentices and update spreadsheet  Send notification of necessary classes to apprentices and copies to ApprenticeshipSF, SFJAC, and the Union local  Send all updated apprentice information to the LEA/Community College for proper enrollment  Review all apprentice class records for grade achievement compliance and report grade and attendance status to ApprenticeshipSF and the SFJAC at the beginning of the semester, mid-term, and end of the semester  Upon notification of academic difficulty, the Apprenticeship Training Coordinator will take appropriate restorative action or recommend to ApprenticeshipSF corrective action as necessary APPRENTICE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
School Assignment. Magnet Programs are available only to a student who has at least one (1) legal guardian residing in Xxxx Arundel County. Verification of residency is required. If a current Magnet student no longer has at least one parent or guardian that resides in Xxxx Arundel County, the student must be exited from the Magnet Program and enrolled in their home school. Magnet school assignments are determined geographically based on the student’s home middle school. A student is not eligible to select an alternate school assignment within any Magnet Program. If a Magnet student moves to a residence within Xxxx Arundel County that is zoned outside of the current Magnet school assignment, that student will be reassigned to the location of the Magnet Program as determined by the new home middle school. TRANSPORTATION Transportation will be provided at consolidated community bus stops (hubs), based on enrollment and bus/driver availability. Hubs are not usually located within ordinary walking distances; families are responsible for getting students to the hub. The Transportation Office typically publishes routes in August at xxx.xxxxx.xxx. When possible, hubs are located at neighborhood schools or libraries in the community. Route lengths vary depending on distance and traffic. PVA Extended Day consolidated bus stops may be at different locations than the regular bus route. Weather that has an impact on specialized Magnet bus routes will be addressed specifically by the Transportation Office for changes in departure or arrival time. Technology User Agreement This school year, AACPS will be using a variety of online resources and software applications to meet the needs of individualized curricular programs. In some cases, these resources may require your student to provide personal information directly to vendors as part of the online registration process. This information may include, but is not limited to, name, personal email addresses, home addresses, grade, school, etc. For curricular programs that include industry training instructional resources and/or certification programs, students may be required to provide personal communication information to AACPS- approved vendors to ensure that access can be maintained after your student leaves AACPS. Some training and certification programs are required to maintain information about your student in perpetuity as this information is part of your student’s professional transcript. School Assignment. 1. The particular school to which the substitute teacher is assigned will be determined by MCPS based on its assessment of where the need is greatest, which may change from day-to-day. MCPS will make every effort to take into consideration the substitute teacher’s preference for school assignment but reserves the discretion to assign the substitute as needed. MCPS will notify the substitute teacher regarding the school to which they are primarily assigned (i.e., their “home” school) and will provide a badge that allows the substitute teacher access to the building. Permanent substitutes will have the opportunity to express their preference of elementary, middle, or high school as their “home” school.

  • Shift Assignment Should the University elect to establish a shift on any other schedule than the regular day shift (Monday through Friday) or to assign employees to work on any such shift, the employee(s) with the most seniority in the classification affected or to be assigned on such shift shall have preference in moving to such shift. If an insufficient number of employees in the classification elect to move to such shift, then the employee(s) with the least seniority in the classification shall be assigned to such shift. If positions or shifts are reduced or eliminated or movement of personnel to other shifts is required, then the seniority of the affected employee will prevail in the selection of shift, provided the affected employee can do the required work. Such shift preference is only applicable within the employee's classification.

  • TEACHER ASSIGNMENT A. Under normal circumstances, the teachers will be notified by the Administration in writing of their programs for the coming school year, including the school(s) to which they will be assigned, the grades and/or subjects that they will teach, and any special or unusual classes that they will have by one (1) week before the close of school. Changes in such programs may be made after one (1) week before the close of school, if necessary, and the teachers involved in the change will be notified as soon as possible.

  • Instructional Assignment The period of an instructional assignment during an academic year shall not exceed an average of seventy-five (75) days per semester and the period for testing, advisement, and other scheduled assignments shall not exceed an average of ten (10) days per semester. Within each semester, activities referred to above shall be scheduled during contiguous weeks with the exception of spring break, if any.

  • Collateral Assignment The Owner may assign this contract as collateral security. The Company is not responsible for the validity or effect of a collateral assignment. The Company will not be responsible to an assignee for any payment or other action taken by the Company before receipt of the assignment in writing at its Home Office. The interest of any beneficiary will be subject to any collateral assignment made either before or after the beneficiary is named. A collateral assignee is not an Owner. A collateral assignment is not a transfer of ownership. Ownership can be transferred only by complying with Section 8.2.
