Scheduling the Work Week. The Xxxxxxxxxx County Dispatch Center is a 24 hour facility and will operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, including holidays. Employees shall be scheduled to work at the discretion of the Employer. The work schedule shall be posted in advance. All schedules are subject to change based on the needs of the Employer as determined by the Employer. The ability to work the full shift as scheduled by the Employer is an essential function of the position. Personnel shall not work in excess of sixteen (16) hours in a twenty-four (24) hour period, and there must be eight (8) hours off-duty time between regularly scheduled work hours, except in cases of declared communications emergency. Should an employee be held over or called back and there is less than 8 hours between the end of the hold over shift and the next scheduled shift, the Employee shall be granted paid administrative leave if necessary to cover previously scheduled work hours in order to achieve an 8 hour rest period.

  • Continuing the Work The Contractor shall carry on the Work and adhere to the progress schedule during all disputes, disagreements or alternative resolution processes with the Owner. The Contractor shall not delay or postpone any Work because of the pending resolution of any disputes, disagreements or processes, except as the Owner and the Contractor may agree in writing.

  • SCHEDULING OF THE WORK The number of working days stipulated for this Contract is 5. These working days shall be consecutive. The Contractor is not required to submit a schedule for this project. Liquidated damages will be assessed beyond the number of working days specified above as well as the completion date as noted in this tender form and agreement.   • Work Scheduling Except at the request of an affected employee, no employee shall have the number of hours they are normally scheduled to work reduced as the result of the use of non-permanent employees such as, but not limited to: seasonal, intermittent, student interns, interns, interim, established term, or temporary employees, due to the performance of such employee’s duties by the nonpermanent employee.

  • Self Scheduling The Home and the Union may agree to implement a self-scheduling process. Self-scheduling is the mechanism by which employees in a Home create their own work schedules. The purpose of self scheduling is to improve job satisfaction and quality of work life for the participating employees. Self scheduling requires a collaboration of employees and management to ensure proper coverage of the Home and to meet the provisions of the Collective Agreement. It is agreed that self scheduling will be negotiated locally by the Home and the Union and will include a trial period. Each Home must have the majority agreement of the full-time and part-time employees who vote on the issue to agree on a trial period of up to six months. Once the trial period is complete, each Home must have a minimum of 66⅔% agreement of the full-time and part-time employees who vote on the issue to continue with the new schedule on a permanent basis.

  • PTO Scheduling a. By November 15 of each year, the Company will post on appropriate bulletin boards a schedule showing the PTO days, which are available to each employee for the upcoming year.
