Common use of Scheduling of Hours Clause in Contracts

Scheduling of Hours. (a) Where an Employee’s regular schedule, shift or hours of work per week are to be changed on an ongoing basis, or the Employer wishes to introduce extended hours of work, the Union and the Employee shall be provided with a minimum of three (3) month’s written notice of the change. The Employee may agree in writing to accept such change sooner after having consulted with a Representative of the Union.
