Scheduling Coordinator Function. During the Services Term, Buyer, or Buyer’s Third-Party SC, will be the Scheduling Coordinator for the Units. Accordingly, Buyer shall be authorized and entitled to exercise all rights and obligations on behalf of the Seller that are customarily included in the responsibilities of the Scheduling Coordinator, including bidding and scheduling deliveries of Energy and Ancillary Services (as applicable) from the Units throughout the Services Term, overseeing CAISO accounts and settlements related to the Units and Products delivered from the Units, discussing and/or resolving disputes related thereto with the CAISO, and compliance with all dispatch and bidding aspects of the Resource Adequacy Requirement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, depending on the Initial Delivery Date and the then-applicable standard scheduling protocols, Buyer will have the right, in accordance with then-applicable standard scheduling protocols, to bid or schedule the Units in advance of the Initial Delivery Date as necessary to commence deliveries of Energy and Ancillary Services (as applicable) on the Initial Delivery Date. In its capacity as Seller’s representative to the CAISO, the Scheduling Coordinator shall be responsible for exercising due diligence in processing and validating all settlements for the Units and ensuring all settlements are valid.

Scheduling Coordinator Function. During the Delivery Term, Buyer, or Buyer’s Third-Party SC, will be the Scheduling Coordinator for the Project. Accordingly, Buyer is authorized and entitled to exercise all rights and obligations on behalf of the Seller that are customarily included in the responsibilities of the Scheduling Coordinator, including bidding and scheduling deliveries of the Product and Charging Energy (as applicable) to and from the Project throughout the Delivery Term, overseeing CAISO accounts and exercising due diligence in processing and validating settlements related to the Project and the Product delivered from the Project, discussing and resolving disputes related thereto with the CAISO, and complying with all dispatch and bidding aspects of the Resource Adequacy Requirement. Depending on the timing of the Initial Delivery Date and in accordance with the then-applicable standard scheduling protocols, Buyer will have the right to bid or schedule the Project in advance of the Initial Delivery Date as necessary to commence deliveries of the Product (as applicable) on the Initial Delivery Date.

Related to Scheduling Coordinator Function

  • Scheduling Coordinator Buyer shall act as the Scheduling Coordinator for the Project. In that regard, Buyer and Seller shall agree to the following:
