Scheduling Changes a. An employee whose previously approved vacation has been changed due to a critical operational necessity shall have the right, prior to filing a formal grievance pursuant to Article VIII, 1.1, to meet with the employee’s appropriate administrator and the appropriate Division Head to attempt to informally resolve the appropriateness of the vacation change. The meeting shall occur and the decision of the administrator shall be provided within five (5) days of the employee’s request for the meeting. Nothing herein shall alter the 15-day time limit for filing a written grievance as required by Article VIII, Section 8.0.

Scheduling Changes i) Barring unforeseen circumstances an employee requesting an exchange of posted time will submit the request electronically with acceptance by the employee willing to exchange shifts at least two (2) days in advance of the requested change. Any change, when initiated by the employee, shall, before implementation, require the prior written approval of the appropriate Director/Manager/Delegate. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld.

Scheduling Changes. LICENSEE must notify UNIVERSITY of any changes to the event schedule as stated in this contract at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the start of the event. Any notification of schedule changes given to the UNIVERSITY less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the start of the event may be implemented at the OLA 10/14/15 (NJJ) discretion of the UNIVERSITY. LICENSEE shall not alter the event schedule outside of the time restrictions set forth in this contract without written consent from UNIVERSITY. The PREMISES are available to LICENSEE for other uses on a space-available basis for programs, meetings, conferences, or other educational activities. The UNIVERSITY reserves the right to re-assign space as needed.

Scheduling Changes. (a) Where a change is made in the Employee’s work schedule, a minimum of fourteen (14) calendar days notice shall be provided. Should this notice not be provided, the Employee shall be paid at one and one-half (1 ½ X) times for all hours worked on the first day of the changed schedule.

Temporary Reassignment. 40-hour Employees will be given no less than seventy-two (72) hours notice and 56-hour Employees shall be given no less than ninety-six (96) hours notice before a temporary change in their regular work shift, or they shall receive their overtime rate of pay for hours worked within the 72 or 96 hour notice period. When a temporary reassignment is necessary, and two or more Employees are equally qualified and available to perform the duties required by the reassignment, reassignment shall be governed by their length of seniority within the department. The Employee with the most seniority within the department shall have the option to take the reassignment or refuse it. Temporary shift assignments shall not exceed thirty (30) working days, except that in an emergency this limitation may be extended by mutual agreement of the Employer and the Association.
Scheduling Changes. 11.201 If an error is made in scheduling, it is the employees responsibility to bring the error to the attention of the scheduler before noon on Friday, or before noon on the last business day before the schedule is effective. This includes regular scheduling weeks, holidays, and overtime. Otherwise, no grievance will be paid for the error.
