Scheduled. “Off Shift” When an employee is assigned to work an “off shift”, the employee shall receive a minimum of eight (8) hours pay for each such “off shift” and all such hours shall be paid as time and one-half (1½) the employee’s regular rate of pay. The employee may be asked by the Employer to remain at work for eight hours in such cases. An employee who works such a shift shall not be scheduled to work for eight (8) hours following the conclusion of such shift. An “off shift” is defined as;

Scheduled. Scheduled use occurs when an employee requests and obtains crewleader or supervisor approval to use PTO hours. Scheduled. DOWNTIME Quivers will use reasonable efforts to provide Client with a minimum of (7) days advance notice for all scheduled downtime to perform system maintenance, backup and upgrade functions for the Quivers Services (the “Scheduled Downtime”) if the Quivers Services will be unavailable due to the performance of system maintenance, backup and upgrade functions. Scheduled Downtime will not exceed eight (8) hours per month and will be scheduled in advance during off-peak hours (based on PT). Quivers will notify Client’s administrator via email of any Scheduled Downtime that will exceed (2) hours. The duration of Scheduled Downtime is measured, in minutes, as the amount of elapsed time from when the Quivers Services are not available to perform operations to when the Quivers Services become available to perform operations.

Requests for scheduling of such floating holiday shall be made at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance (with the exception of Public Safety Dispatchers, who shall follow existing procedures for requesting time off). Holidays shall be administered in accordance with the provisions of the Personnel Rules and Regulations and the Administrative Policies of the City.
