Schedule Adjustments. Where a part-time employee knows absolutely that he or she is not going to be available for work, he or she may request a schedule adjustment. Each part-time employee may request up to six (6) schedule adjustments per calendar year. All such requests must be submitted to Scheduling at least two (2) weeks in advance.

Schedule Adjustments. 1. A school term is defined as 190 days of which 180 days are scheduled work days for TEACHERS and 10 days are paid holidays. TEACHERS who work extra days have the additional number of days included within their job description and delineated on their individual WAGE STATEMENT. A TEACHER’S per diem daily rate is calculated by taking his/her annual salary from the salary schedule divided by 190. By October 15th of each school year, the Business Office will submit to the XXXXX Co-Presidents a list of any TEACHER positions that exceed 190 days.

Except in case of emergency, if a major or protracted scheduled change is required, the employee shall receive written notice at least seventy-two (72) hours in advance.

For new employees, adjustment days will be pro-rated for the first calendar year. LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING #7 – EARLY OUTS When, after sending home any applicable overtime employees, it becomes necessary to reduce the workforce for a period of less than a full shift, the Employer will first seek volunteers and will offer early outs in the following order:

Schedule adjustments to accommodate training shall not be made in such a manner as to split consecutive scheduled days off, unless mutually agreed by the Employer and the employee. Further, scheduled days off or shifts of employees who are not members of the Special Response Team shall not be changed to accommodate Special Response Team training.
