Saturday Holiday. When any holiday from 1 through 13 above falls on a Saturday, it shall be observed on the preceding Friday.
Saturday Holiday. When a holiday listed herein falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday will be observed as a Holiday. All City administrative offices and departments will be closed except fire suppression and lifeguard services.
Saturday Holiday. When the preceding Friday lands on an employee’s regularly scheduled day off per the Alternate 9/80 work schedule, then the employee will receive nine (9) hours of holiday pay for that day.
Saturday Holiday. In the event any of the specified holidays oc- cur on Saturday, all employees covered by this Agreement who fulfill the qualifications for receiving holiday pay in the week immediately preceding such holiday Saturday, shall receive such holiday with pay at the rate of eight (8) hours’ pay for the holi- day, in addition to any monies the employee may earn on such holidays. Where a holiday occurs on Saturday, it shall be cele- brated on Friday if so deemed by Proclamation (Md.) or Execu- tive Order (D.C.). Sunday Holiday—A holiday which falls on Sunday shall be cele- brated on Monday.

Where a holiday occurs on Saturday, it shall be celebrated on Friday if so deemed by Proclamation (Md.) or Executive Order (D.C.). Sunday Holiday – A holiday which falls on Sunday shall be cele- brated on Monday.
