Saturday and Sunday. assignments shall be voluntary, either as a part of a regular load or as an overload, and shall not be used for load adjustment except by mutual consent of the first-level manager and the bargaining unit member. For every weekend day (Saturday and/or Sunday) a faculty member is assigned the faculty member will not be scheduled during an equivalent number of weekdays (Monday through Friday). This arrangement must be mutually agreed to in writing by the faculty member and the first-level manager.
