Sanitary Surveys. Illinois EPA and IDPH will maintain technical expertise needed to perform sanitary surveys and ensure that sanitary surveys meet the content and frequency requirements specified by the regulations. During the FY 2020 grant year, Illinois EPA will complete 495 CWS sanitary surveys. - During the FY 2020 grant year, IDPH will complete around 1800 sanitary surveys at all licensed recreational areas and all biennial surveys that are due to be completed. - Illinois EPA and IDPH will also evaluate all eight elements and report status quarterly to SDWIS-FED. IDPH is fully implementing the appropriate tracking and reporting of the eight elements of a sanitary survey. - U.S. EPA Region 5 will track state targets to conduct sanitary surveys for all system types within the federally required intervals.

Sanitary Surveys. The State shall submit to the Region 8 Drinking Water Program an evaluation of its program for conducting Subpart H System Sanitary Surveys in accordance with 40 CFR 142.16(b)(3) during calendar year 2008 as required by 40 CFR 142.15(a)(5) by February 15, 2009. EPA will continue to encourage the State to ensure that violation letters are sent to PWSs for each violation incurred. This could include evaluating the success of rule managers in completing this task during their performance appraisal and spot-checking during the year to assist in determining this success.
Sanitary Surveys. The State shall submit to the EPA Region VIII Drinking Water Program an evaluation of its program for conducting Subpart H System Sanitary Surveys in accordance with 40 CFR 142.16(b)(3) during calendar year 2007 as required by 40 CFR 142.15(a)(5) by February 15, 2008.
Sanitary Surveys. Indiana will maintain technical expertise needed to perform sanitary surveys and ensure that sanitary surveys meet the content and frequency requirements specified by rule. - During, Indiana plans to complete 800 sanitary surveys during the FY 2021 grant year and 942 sanitary surveys during the FY 2022 grant year. - Indiana will also evaluate all 8 elements and report status quarterly to SDWIS-FED. - EPA Region 5 will track state targets to conduct sanitary surveys for all system types within the federally required intervals (see FY22 and FY23 Measures and Indicators, attached). - In FY22 and FY23, the State will use the PWSS funding to support all field staff to complete the required sanitary survey activities as described in this section. The PWSS funding will also be used to send field staff to conferences and trainings to maintain technical expertise.

The City specifically reserves the right to restrict water usage under this Agreement if water restrictions are placed on other water users within the City. City will provide Lessee with a radio for remote operation of the irrigation system, which Lessee shall use for the day to day maintenance, repair, and monitoring of the irrigation system. If the radio is lost, stolen, broken, or is rendered unusable, Lessee shall pay $1500 for the replacement radio. City is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the following irrigation elements, to the extent applicable: curb stops, backflow prevention devices, backflow enclosures, main line pipings, electric control valves, and controllers. Lessee shall notify Parks Division Water managers by email if any of these irrigation elements are malfunctioning or broken.
