Common use of Sanctioned Person Clause in Contracts

Sanctioned Person. “Sanctioned Person” shall mean any individual or entity that is the subject or target of sanctions or restrictions under Sanctions Laws or Ex-Im Laws, including: (i) any individual or entity listed on any applicable U.S. or non-U.S. sanctions- or export-related restricted party list, including OFAC’s Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons, the UK Sanctions List, and the EU Consolidated List; (ii) any entity that is, in the aggregate, 50 percent or greater owned, directly or indirectly, or otherwise controlled by a person or persons described in clause (i); or (iii) any national of a Sanctioned Country.

Sanctioned Person. “Sanctioned Person” shall mean any individual or entity Person that is the subject or target of sanctions or restrictions under Sanctions Laws or Ex-Im LawsSanctions, including: , (ia) any individual or entity Person listed on in any applicable U.S. or non-U.S. sanctions- or exportSanctions-related restricted party list, including OFAC’s Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Personslist of designated Persons maintained by the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Department of the Treasury or the U.S. Department of State, the UK Sanctions ListUnited Nations Security Council, and the European Union, any EU Consolidated List; member state or His Majesty’s Treasury of the United Kingdom, (iib) any entity that isPerson located, organized or resident in the aggregate, 50 percent a Sanctioned Territory or greater owned(c) any Person, directly or indirectly, owned or otherwise controlled by a person any such Person or persons Persons described in clause the foregoing clauses (i); or a) and (iiib) any national of a Sanctioned Countryso as to subject the person to Sanctions.
