SALARY SCHEDULE NOTES. Teaching experience must be in a Public School System (K-16) or in a regionally accredited private school (K-16). Experience for United States military service may be counted for up to 4 years (10 months of service for each year of experience granted). A year's teaching experience must include at least 99 days active duty during a school year. Salary payments will be divided into equal amounts based on the number of payments due and no adjustments will be made if the total annual payments are within ten (10) cents of the stated amounts in the schedule. After successful completion of a post graduate degree (specialist or doctorate) at midyear, a psychologist would be eligible to receive one half of the Advanced Degree Supplement spread over the remaining checks beginning with March. All paperwork must be completed and on file in the County Office by January 31, to be eligible. An advanced degree supplement will only be awarded if in area of certification. Retroactive pay will not be paid to any person who has separated from the district prior to ratification date, except for normal or disability retirement. Career and Technical Education teachers working under a district- issued certificate may be awarded up to 10 years of experience specifically related to their teaching assignment, above the work experience required for certification. Speech Language Pathologists may be awarded up to 10 years of non-school, D.O.H. licensed experience specifically related to speech pathology.   • Salary Schedule Placement 1. Credit hours for the purpose of placement on the salary schedule shall be defined as those semester hour credits earned for graduate courses that are within the teacher’s present certification or a planned program leading to additional areas of teacher certification, guidance or administration. Upon approval of the Superintendent, any other courses, graduate or undergraduate may be certified for proper placement on the salary schedule.

  • Salary Schedule The scale of remuneration set out in Schedule "A" shall apply during the term of this Agreement. Any changes in salary rates or the classifications as outlined in Schedule "A" shall not be put into effect until the Union Business Representative has been consulted.

  • Salary Schedules (a) The salary schedules shall be incorporated into this Agreement as Appendix V.

  • SUPPLEMENTAL SALARY SCHEDULE 12.01 Every effort shall be made by the Board to post supplemental positions in a timely manner each school year. Teachers in the bargaining unit may apply for the supplemental vacancy within ten (10) working days of each posting. If no qualified bargaining unit member applies for the supplemental position, the Board may fill the vacancy with individuals not in the bargaining unit.

  • Placement on Salary Schedule The following rules shall be applicable in determining placement of a teacher on the appropriate salary schedule:

  • Salary Schedule Progression Employees shall progress from step to step in salary grade on the basis of satisfactory job performance based upon established standards of performance. Seasonal employee's initial anniversary date shall be established after being in pay status for two thousand eighty (2,080) hours. Such date shall then be used for annual performance evaluation and step progression consideration. When an employee's anniversary date falls on any day from the first day of a pay week through Wednesday of the pay week, the employee's merit increase shall be effective as of the first day of the pay week within which the anniversary date falls. Otherwise, the merit increase shall be effective on the first day of the next pay week. Grievances arising from the denial of merit increases shall not be arbitrable under this Agreement but shall be processed as follows:

  • Salary Schedule Advancement The base salaries in each cluster within a step may be increased through COLA, turnover savings, increments, and additional educational attainment. Once placed in a cluster within a step, faculty do not move from cluster to cluster except as described in B.3.B below.

  • Status of Salary Schedule The salary schedules are not to be construed as part of a teacher’s continuing contract. In the event a successor Agreement is not entered into prior to the expiration date of this Agreement, a teacher shall be compensated according to the previous year’s compensation until such time that a successor Agreement is executed.

  • Salary Pay Date/Schedule 3.1.1 Save and except for substitute teachers, each teacher shall be paid 1/12 of their annual rate of salary on or before the 25 day of the month from September to August inclusive provided that the December payment shall be made prior to the last teaching day in December.
