Salary Payments. 1. The School Board of Broward County, Florida (SBBC) and the Broward Teachers Union (BTU) mutually agree that bargaining unit members shall be paid for the number of paid days in a pay period. The dollar amount of their first and last paycheck can vary from the paycheck received during the remainder of the bargaining unit member’s contract year. Pay dates will be set for every other Friday, except if the first pay date of the bargaining unit member's contract year does not fall on the second Friday, a partial pay check will be cut for the number of days worked in the first week on the second Friday.
