Salary Credits. Upon the successful completion of his/her first master’s or doctorate degree confirmed on or after October 1, 2013, nine-month faculty shall receive a salary credit of $3,000.00 and twelve-month faculty shall receive a salary credit of $4,000 to his/her base salary in the year following the confirmation of the respective degree. Upon the successful completion of a discipline-related certification (maximum of five, including those allowed as an incoming faculty member) as approved by the designated administrator , nine-month faculty shall receive a salary credit of $100/certification and twelve-month faculty shall receive a salary credit of $133/certification to his/her base salary in the year following certification.

Salary Credits. Credits for graduate level academic courses shall be reviewed by the superintendent or his designee, and upon his approval applied to the salary schedule. An undergraduate course may be eligible for credit on the salary schedule if approved in advance by the superintendent or designee. Successful completion of a course is defined as attainment of a "B" or better or a "P" for a course taken on a "pass-fail" basis. The Professional Development Committee shall have the responsibility of making recommendations for approval of courses for salary credits to the superintendent or designee in cases where a dispute has arisen. The committee shall consist of three (3) members appointed by the superintendent or designee and three (3) members selected by the Association, and they shall select a chairperson from among themselves. The superintendent or designee and the President of the Association may, from time to time, replace members appointed by them. The superintendent or designee shall be on the committee, as an ex-officio member, with the power to cast the tie-breaking vote in case of impasse in the selection of a chairperson and on matters of substance for the committee. Salary Credits. 1. Approval of College/University Coursework – A teacher must seek pre-approval of any coursework for which s/he wished to accrue salary lane change. The administration shall provide approval or non-approval before the course begins. The teacher must submit the request for approval no later than two weeks before the course begins.
Salary Credits. The District shall accept all college quarter hour credits, equivalent inservice credits computed in accordance with RCW 28A.415.020, and experience as determined by the State XXX criteria for advancement on the salary schedule. If such credits and experience are paid by XXX to the District, they shall be accepted and paid locally. If such credits and experience are not paid by XXX, they shall not be accepted or paid locally. Excepting provisions of Subsection Six (6) below, employees must have verification of new credits in to the District by October 1 of the current school year for salary increases for that school year.
Salary Credits. Credits to be considered for determination of lane or lane changes must be germane to the teaching assignment as determined by the administration and approved by the school board. (79)
