Common use of Safety Shoes Clause in Contracts

Safety Shoes. a. Effective July 1 of each year, employees whom the appointing authority has determined must wear safety shoes shall be eligible to receive a $225.00 voucher each year towards their purchase and/or maintenance of such shoes for wear on the job. A new employee shall become eligible to receive a $225.00 voucher upon hire.

The parties recognize and agree that distribution of this $200.00 voucher completely satisfies any obligation the County may have with respect to the provision of safety shoes.
