SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND PROGRAMS. The Contractor shall have overall responsibility for safety precautions and programs in the performance of the Work. While the provisions of this Paragraph establish the responsibility for safety between the Owner and Contractor, they do not relieve Subcontractors of their responsibility for the safety of persons or property in the performance for their work, nor for compliance with the provisions of applicable laws and regulations.
