Safety Oversight. To the extent applicable, the Grantee agrees to comply with any Federal regulations, laws, or policy and other guidance that FRA or U.S. DOT may issue pertaining to safety oversight in general, and in the performance of this Agreement, in particular.

Safety Oversight. The CMF shall review the safety program developed by the contractor and insure that it complies with Federal and State laws or regulations, insurance company requirements, local county or municipal health regulations or other requirements and local union rules. The CMF shall, on a regular basis, monitor the contractor’s site safety program to insure compliance. If it is found the contractor is not in compliance with said program then the CMF shall immediately notify the contractor and the Owner in writing of the deficiencies. The CMF shall meet with the Owners Representative to review the non-compliance issues and proceed in a manner as directed by the Owner to insure compliance with the site safety program. The CMF will maintain a complete record of all safety related incidents and submit monthly safety reports to the Owner.
Safety Oversight. Safety Manager Duties and responsibilities within the Safety Oversight job category include, but are not limited to: develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive project safety program; provide onsite construction safety management by monitoring and auditing the job site and workforce for hazards and unsafe conditions; evaluate and approve contractor and subcontractor safety manager candidates and written safety programs; monitor all aspects of workplace to ensure compliance with Cal/OSHA standards and regulations; accompany Federal inspectors during OSHA on-site inspections and interviews; consult with client management on walk-throughs, and develop and present solutions and recommendations for improving site working conditions; develop, apply and test safety plans for project office workers; all of which shall be performed in coordination with the JWA Safety and Loss Control Manager and under the direction of the Facilities Development Division Deputy Airport Director and/or Airport Engineering Section Manager.

Related to Safety Oversight

  • Safety Program The Contractor shall design a specific safety program for the Work for the site(s). The Contractor shall establish and require all Subcontractors to establish reasonable safety programs. The Contractor shall also submit its standard monthly safety reports to the Owner and Design Professional. No imposition of responsibility on the Contractor for safety under this Contract shall relieve any subcontractor of its responsibility for safety of persons or property on or near the Project Site. The Contractor shall include in his plant he names of the person in charge of Safety.

  • Safety Plan Developer’s safety plan specifically adapted for the Project. Developer's Safety Plan shall comply with all provisions regarding Project safety, including all applicable provisions in these Construction Provisions.

  • Safety Glasses 10.3.1 Where a teacher is considered to be working in an “eye danger” area, the teacher shall receive a personal issue of standard neutral safety glasses which shall remain the property of the employer.
