Common use of Safety Committee Clause in Contracts

Safety Committee. (a) The Employer and the Union agree that policies and guidelines relating to safety and health shall be recommended by the Safety Committee. Unless mutually agreed otherwise, the Committee will meet at least once per month to make recommendations on unsafe, hazardous or dangerous conditions with the aim of preventing and reducing risk of occupational injury and illness.
