The District agrees to maintain physical distancing standards in school facilities and vehicles, including but not limited incorporating the following concepts: ✔ The District shall reconfigure all workspaces to ensure that employees can maintain physical distancing to the extent possible. Physical guides such as tape on floors, or signs will be implemented. ✔ Limit the number of people in all campus spaces to the number that can be reasonably accommodated while maintaining a minimum of six (6) feet of distance between individuals, or current CDC, state, or local recommended distance. Face coverings are required to be worn properly at all times by all individuals on a school campus indoors or outdoors. This applies to all staff, all students in grades TK-8, all administrators, and any visitors on campus over two years of age. The District shall develop and share with staff a plan to deal with students and others who are not in compliance with the face covering requirements: Face coverings shall not be required for students or staff if there is a medical or behavioral contraindication verified in writing from a medical professional or behavioral specialist. ✔ Pursuant to public health guidance, District shall create smaller student and educator cohorts to minimize the mixing of student groups throughout the day. Minimize movement of students and educators or staff as much as possible. ✔ Install fixed plexiglass xxxxxxx in the front office areas of all district schools and provide portable plexiglass xxxxxxx for use in student assessments and other one-to-one interactions between staff and students. ✔ Designate specific routes for entry and exit. ✔ Install new air filters in all HVAC systems with rating no lower than MERV-13, as available, adjust all HVAC systems to allow for maximum outside air intake, test all HVAC systems to ensure proper function and adequate ventilation in all areas of buildings.

Nylon jackets and those with metal zips shall not be acceptable. • Any other safety equipment deemed necessary for the safe conduct of work.

  • ENVIRONMENT, SAFETY AND HEALTH PROTECTION (a) Seller shall perform this Agreement in a manner that ensures adequate protection for workers, the public, and the environment, and shall be accountable for actions of itself and its lower-tier subcontractors, agents and employees. Seller shall exercise a degree of care commensurate with the work and the associated hazards. Seller shall ensure that management of environment, safety and health (ES&H) functions and activities is an integral and visible part of Seller’s work planning and execution process. In the event that Xxxxxx fails to comply with this Agreement, Company may, without prejudice to any other legal or contractual rights, issue an order stopping all or any part of the work; thereafter a start order for resumption of work may be issued at Company’s discretion. Seller shall make no claim for an extension of time or for compensation or damages by reason of or in connection with such work stoppage. In addition, Company may require, in writing, that Seller remove from the work any employee the Company deems unsafe, incompetent, careless, or otherwise objectionable.

  • PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT, TOOLS AND APPAREL 16.01 The Employer will furnish employees with all necessary personal protective equipment (including safety helmets, safety glasses, gloves etc.) and rain gear if and when required. Said equipment shall remain the property of the Employer. Any worn out safety equipment will be replaced by the Employer upon presentation of the worn equipment. The employees shall be held responsible for loss or improper maintenance of Employer furnished items, including personal protective equipment, rain gear and safety equipment, in which case employees may, at the discretion of the Employer, be subject to disciplinary action.

  • Personal Safety 1. The employer and the Union agree that students must be held accountable for their conduct in the classroom, on campus, and at school-sponsored events.

  • Facilities and Equipment Except as set forth herein, Consultant shall, at its sole cost and expense, provide all facilities and equipment that may be necessary to perform the services required by this Agreement. City shall make available to Consultant only the facilities and equipment listed in this section, and only under the terms and conditions set forth herein.   • UNIFORMS AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT 214. For employees required by the Appointing Officer to wear a uniform, beginning in fiscal year 2006-2007 and continuing for the duration of this Agreement, the City agrees to provide a uniform allowance each year in the amount of eight hundred fifty dollars ($850). The City will pay the uniform allowance in the payroll that includes September 1 of each year. Represented employees must be on duty status or approved leave on each September 1 to be eligible for the uniform allowance. Any eligible employee hired on or after March 1 will receive fifty percent (50%) of the uniform allowance that year.

  • Use of Facilities and Equipment The Association will be allowed to use school facilities for meetings upon request to and approval of the Superintendent. The Association will be allowed to use school equipment, including typewriters, computers, mimeograph machines, other duplicating equipment, calculating machines, and all types of audio-visual equipment when such equipment is not otherwise in use. The Association shall pay the cost of all materials and supplies incidental to such use and shall be responsible for proper operation of all such equipment.
