SAFEGUARDING AND CHILD PROTECTION. 19.1 You will take responsibility for safeguarding the welfare of children subject to the universal duty applicable to all who work in a child centred environment. Hirers providing services to children must have policies and procedures in place to ensure children’s safety and any Risk Assessments and DBS certificates required by the Hirer must be supplied to the School upon request. b. At an event where the number of children is likely to exceed 100, the Hirer must ensure that a sufficient number of adults are stationed to prevent more children being admitted, to control the movement of the children and to take all reasonable precautions for the safety of the children as required by the Children’s and Young Person’s ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇.
SAFEGUARDING AND CHILD PROTECTION. The Provider must ensure all staff have an awareness of the possibility of abuse, the possible signs and symptoms of abuse to both adults and children, and know their responsibilities to respond to and report allegations of abuse or harm appropriately. The Provider must ensure staff have access to an up-to-date version of the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Safeguarding Adults Multi Agency Policy and Procedures for safeguarding adults and separate children’s policy and that staff / managers are clear about the process of reporting any concerns about suspected abuse. The provider must include the safeguarding of adults and children in induction and training at a level appropriate to staff members’ roles in the Safeguarding Children process of alerting in the case of suspicion of abuse. The provider must ensure that staff understand and know the requirements to make accurate, factual records at the time of concern and to date and sign all written records / entries.
SAFEGUARDING AND CHILD PROTECTION. The HSCB will continue to have a key role and remit in scrutinising the development and delivery of safeguarding services for children and young people and the evaluation of the efficiency and effectiveness of early help. There will be an active dialogue between the HSCB and the Children’s and Young People’s Partnership on strategic service developments, the delivery of quality interventions and supports and the evidenced outcomes from statutory intervention.
SAFEGUARDING AND CHILD PROTECTION. I understand that the Keeping Children Safe in Education 2016 duty places a requirement on all staff to follow specific child protection procedures should any concerns be made and that there is a Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy available for me to view at any time on the website. If we have any concerns for your child’s welfare we will raise these issues with you and /or follow our child protection policy Sometimes things go wrong despite our best efforts or you may have a suggestion. In either case please contact our Nursery Manager, ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ and she will be happy to try to resolve your concern. We have a complaints policy which can be viewed on the website.
SAFEGUARDING AND CHILD PROTECTION. In addition the User’s liability in respect of health and safety concerns referred to at paragraph 9 (and elsewhere) the User specifically undertakes to ensure that all staff and volunteers providing or offering a service on behalf of the User work to the standards outlined through the DfE publications and guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education (2023) and Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018 and are familiar with and agree to follow the expectations of the both this guidance and the local area procedures produced through the Oxfordshire Safeguarding Children’s Board. In agreeing to transfer control of the use of the Premises the Trustees have the right to request sight of the User’s child protection/safeguarding policy and require the User to sign a declaration substantially in the form set out at Appendix 1 confirming that these policies and procedures will be followed in full. These procedures include the provision of a named lead person on Safeguarding who has received appropriate training. In addition to the general right of termination set out in paragraph 6, the Trustees specifically reserve the right to terminate this agreement with immediate effect if the User does not have the appropriate arrangements referred to in paragraph 8 and/or does not follow the guidance and procedures referred to in paragraph 8. Termination of this Agreement under paragraph 8 shall be without prejudice to any existing liability of the Tenant to the Landlord under this Lease and in such circumstances the Trustees will not be liable for any loss financial or otherwise incurred by the User.

SAFEGUARDING AND CHILD PROTECTION. It is extremely important that we know the whereabouts of students at all times throughout the academy day. As Sixth Formers have several study lessons a week it is imperative that they sign in and out at the start and end of each session. Students should sign in and out with ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ or ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. Students must make us aware of where they will be studying. If a student needs to leave the site for any reason, they must sign out with a valid reason at the main gate. If this does not happen, they are seriously breaching the school procedures and could find themselves being removed from Sixth Form. Please work with us to ensure safety at all times.
