SABBATICAL LEAVE REGULATIONS. 1. Teachers must have taught for five (5) years in the School District before being eligible for a sabbatical leave.
SABBATICAL LEAVE REGULATIONS. A. A teacher who has successfully completed seven years of teaching excluding leave in the Xxxxxx County School District may be granted a Sabbatical Leave of one (1) year's duration for the purpose of graduate study or studying in places of employment to gain technological or industrial experience in the area of the teacher's assignment.
SABBATICAL LEAVE REGULATIONS. A. Any administrator who has completed seven (7) or more consecutive years of full time service in the Bloomfield Public Schools may, upon recommendation of the Superintendent, be granted leave of absence for one (1) or two (2) semesters for study or study program through travel. After each subsequent period of seven (7) or more years of such service, a further leave for study or study program through travel may be granted.

  • Application for Sabbatical Leave Application for sabbatical leave for professional study, research, or professional improvement, must be made at least sixty (60) days prior to the beginning of such requested leave. Applicant must be notified by the Board of the disposition within thirty (30) days of receipt of the request. The application for such sabbatical leave must be accompanied by an outline of the program of study or research to be pursued, or the proposals for the professional improvement.

  • Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA A. The State acknowledges its commitment to comply with the spirit and intent of the leave entitlement provided by the FMLA and the California Family Rights Act (CFRA) referred to collectively as "FMLA." The State and the Union recognize that on occasion it will be necessary for employees of the State to take job- protected leave for reasons consistent with the FMLA. As defined by the FMLA, reasons for an FMLA leave may include an employee's serious health condition, for the care of a child, spouse, or parent who has a serious health condition, and/or for the birth or adoption of a child.

  • Health Leave Any regular employee of the District may, at the discretion of the Board, be granted a leave of absence without pay for reasons of health, such leave to be specified for a period of not more than one year. Such leave may be extended in case of serious health conditions.
