Rotation of Holidays. Control/Dispatch Officers, Detention Officers and Deputies will work Thanksgiving and Christmas on a rotating basis. To implement the time and one-half holiday day pay provided for in section C above; the Control/Dispatch Officers, Detention Officers and Deputies that work the following three holiday shifts will be paid time and one-half. The night shift starting immediately before holiday day, the holiday day morning shift and the holiday day afternoon shift.   • List of Holidays a) The Employer recognizes the following paid holidays: New Year’s Day Labour Day Family Day Thanksgiving Day Good Friday Christmas Day Easter Monday Boxing Day Victoria Day Civic Holiday (deferred to Christmas Shutdown) Canada Day Plus, any other day(s) declared or proclaimed as a Statutory Holiday by the Federal or Provincial Government.
