Rostered Overtime. The annual Rostered Overtime is the average weekly Rostered Overtime contained in the roster, multiplied by 43.6 for 5 Day Week Rosters and 48.4 weeks for Weekend Rosters, 6 Day Rosters and 7 Day Rosters. Rostered Overtime is calculated using the overtime rates below:

Rostered Overtime. The five (5) panel roster provides 2 hours per week overtime during operating cycle. This overtime is not transferable and is included in the shift component of annual rate.

If instructed to work, employees will be paid double time for all productive work performed during this period, only if the time worked is specified on the employee’s timesheet and the hours worked are acknowledged and approved by the client / supervisor, stating that the client instructed the work.

Rostered Overtime. Overtime to backfill for manpower shortages due to training, vacation and/or extended sick leave shall be paid for actual hours worked, at the appropriate overtime rate. Rostered overtime will be planned and recorded on the monthly roster when the roster is published and will specify which days the overtime is required, including shift start and finishing times. If an employee has been rostered to work overtime, which is subsequently cancelled, the Company will provide 12 hours’ notice to the employee. If 12 hours’ notice is not provided, the employee will be paid the rostered overtime hours at ordinary time. If 3 hours of overtime is worked the employee will be provided with a meal or paid as per Clause 6.3 (a).

  • Planned Overtime In making planned overtime assignments the Employer shall first assign overtime on an equal opportunity basis according to each section’s procedure (Schedule E), as agreed to by the parties. Such overtime shall be assigned to employees who are actively on the payroll and who have indicated their willingness to accept overtime assignments according to section procedures and who are:

  • Scheduled Overtime Scheduled overtime is overtime which is assigned by the end of the employee's last worked shift prior to the overtime assignment and which does not immediately precede or immediately follow a scheduled work shift. Unless notified otherwise in advance of the scheduled starting time of the scheduled overtime assignment, any employee who is scheduled to report for work and who reports as scheduled shall be assigned at least two (2) hours work. If work is not available, the employee may be excused from duty and paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate. If the employee begins work but is excused from duty before completing two (2) hours of work, the employee shall be paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate.

  • Banked Overtime In the event the day in lieu of working the statutory holiday is not provided as stipulated in 8.01.04, this portion may also be banked.

  • Holiday Overtime An employee required to work on any of the above-named holidays will be paid holiday pay plus payment for the number of hours worked at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) his regular straight time rate of pay.

  • Unscheduled Overtime I. a payment of forty dollars ($40.00) as a meal allowance.

  • Weekly Overtime An Employee required to work in excess of forty (40) hours per week shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1 1/2) for the first eight (8) hours of work in excess of the forty (40) hours and double time thereafter.

  • Overtime Work A. Overtime pay is to be paid at the rate of one and one- half (1½) times the basic hourly straight-time rate.

  • Compensation for Holidays Worked a. With the exception of the provisions in Section C.2.b., below, an employee required to work on a holiday listed above shall be paid at the employee's regular straight-time rate of pay for the hours actually worked. In addition, an eligible employee shall receive either compensatory time off or holiday pay at the option of the University at the regular straight-time rate, including any shift differential.

  • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.

  • Compensation for Overtime 9.5.1 All overtime hours, except those overtime hours exceeding twelve (12) hours in one day, shall be compensated at a rate of pay equal to time and one-half the regular rate of pay of the employee. Those overtime hours exceeding twelve (12) in one day shall be compensated at a rate of pay equal to two times the regular pay of the employee.
